most of us are living in a small, individual type world that cries out for us to respond to today and all the things that we had to live through today.
We don't have to respond to that simplistic feeling. That feeling that causes us to question.
We are capable of thinking, and feeling, beyond our little worlds and the concerns that we have for "them".
We should do that. We are not mice; we are intelligent and cooperative humans. At least, we like to think so.
tomorrow.
Maybe, we will respond to another feeling that comes from our thoughts about others. Maybe we won't.
Maybe, in the "richest and most democratic country in the world" we could find
No more homelessness. No more women and children going hungry. No more people living under bridges. No more people sitting outside of convenience stores asking for a nickel. No more.
No more poverty. No more pain. No more turning around to ignore what is all around us.
Tomorrow. Maybe we will care. Maybe we won't.
That's my worry.
