I heard yesterday that there was speculation that * pre-taped his

speech the other night, especially since they weren't letting photogs in. I woke up this morning and heard about the attack on the Amer. Embassy in Greece and for some reason I thought "guess chickensh*t's hiding in an undisclosed location this morning". Then I thought that was probably where he was the other night since he knew they were raiding the Iranian Consulate - he was probably hiding in a safe place just in case they retalliated.

We'll probably never know for sure, but that's what I'm thinking.

and he got through twenty minutes of speechmaking without all the ahs and ums and broken sentences.

It was a very wierd speech for Junior.

That's exactly the way I described it. It just burns me up that the little "Live" icon was at the bottom of the screen the whole time.

If there's anyone here who works in the industry who can clarify how that would happen - a bad feed or something - I'd be interested in hearing it. I think it definitely was taped, which begs the question, "Why was it necessary?"

Don't know exactly how to explain it. Like if the heads are dirty on your VCR or some of the "gears" aren't working right and it makes a perfectly good tape skip. Something like that.
