Joe Liberman is a neoconservative

http://rightweb.irc-online.org/profile/1475

The Foundation for the Defense of Democracies (FDD), founded shortly after the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, is an organization purportedly devoted to supporting the war against terror and promoting democracy across the globe. It has become a prominent member of the web of neoconservative-aligned think tanks,

Although the FDD does not define its own ideology, the positions and philosophy it promotes mirror those of neoconservative ideologues and institutes, including its fervent promotion of Israel, America's mission to direct international affairs, and the struggle against all manifestations of totalitarianism.

The FDD's three board members are Steve Forbes, Jack Kemp, and Jeane Kirkpatrick. Its four “distinguished advisers” are Newt Gingrich, Sen. Joseph Lieberman (D-CT), Louis J. Freeh (former FBI director), and James Woolsey (former CIA director). FDD also has a Board of Advisers, whose members are: Gary Bauer, Donna Brazile, Rep. Eric Cantor (R-VA), Rep. Eliot Engel (D-NY), Rep. Mark Foley (R-FL), Frank Gaffney, Amb. Marc Ginsberg, Rep. J.D. Hayworth (R-AZ), Charles Jacobs, William Kristol, Charles Krauthammer, former Gov. Richard D. Lamm, Rep. Jim Marshall (D-GA), former Sen. Zell Miller, Richard Perle, and Sen. Charles Schumer (D-NY).

6. His professed bipartisanship is a sham

He is a 'kept man' who gave up his right to be identified as a Democrat when he thumbed his nose at the CT voters. He's been bought and paid for and is now nothing more than a tool of his handlers.

7. Advisers: Donna Brazile, , , William Kristol, Krauthammer, , , Perle, and Sen. Charles Schumer
Pure evil. It is obvious where Lieberman got the money to buy his way back into the Senate.

13. How many times do you need to get
this shit deleted before you realize it is an inappropriate statement.

There are plenty of legitimate arguments against Lieberman without resorting to quotations form The Protocols.

You can start with "he's a whiny bastard" and finish somewhere with "he needs to stop kissing Bush's ass". Those are appropriate arguments.

14. Have you ever wondered if Joe Lieberman was their inside man in the Gore Campaign??
:eyes: I have. I have often thought about the loyalty that Lieberman has demonstrated towards Bush. Their "Kiss". And so many other things about actions/inactions by Joe Lieberman during the 2000 election and when the whole debacle of who won or didn't win happen.

Wow...imagine for a minute if ole' Joe was feeding the Bushites info they needed....watching Joe of late, its not too hard to believe, is it?

17. The fact that Joe Lieberman was the first to jump to his feet on the
Sentate floor to condemn Bill Clinton for a personal indiscretion is proof enough for me that he has always been a neoconservatism.

15. How many people even remember
the name of the Republican who ran in that race? Probably not that many. Lieberman was always their pick.

Yet that is Democracy in action and he is who the Democrats have to deal with in order to maintain a very important majority. Hopefully, they will find ways to hamstring him.

20. Used to be you could not make such a statement without getting abarrage of Pro-Joe invective.
Those who warned that Joe is a Neocon in Democratic drag were correct all along. Don't forget that, and don't forget the Joe lovers and how they would pile on.

And don't forget the Lieberthugs during the election.

21. Donna Brazile and Charles Schumer on the Board of Advisers?
Somehow, those two names sound out of place to me next to the likes of Newt Gingrich, Joe Lieberman, Gary Bauer, J.D. Hayworth, William Kristol, Zell Miller, et al.
