5. You have only to juxtapose

this with the media point that the rage of the people would die down and make brutal actions less palatable. That is cold enough, but what Bush slants in his mind betrays the type of exploitation attitude he has toward the people in general. This is almost a quote from Northwood type doctrine on the
aftermath of a second Pearl Harbor. It is appalling in its brevity and easy supposition. Bush's psyche on the other hand is utterly unmoved by anything except real personal checks against getting what he wants or the mere opposition of counter beliefs. In context he has nothing to say about weak or deficient psyches except his own.
