Sure, he made some bad choices, but we need to stand behind our president
cspan caller. I wonder if he stood behind President Bill Clinton?

Sure, the world is about to explode because of our president, but we need to stand behind him and stop bad mouthing him.

Sometimes I think many of the cspan callers are the recently deceased being re-animated and forced to call into cspan and say zombie shit.

How can you get past this type of thinking? Hitler is in the white house but no one will believe me.

5. I heard him.
Ever notice how those against Bush's war are articulate and clear and to the point and those in favor of Bush's war are slow speakers and ramble? Just an observation.

7. Why???
These "morans" who say "stand behind the president" need to be asked "WHY???" Just because he's the president? They need to explain their rationale (if it even exists). They need to be challenged to show the flaws in their thinking. And besides, remember that they are in the 32% minority right now.

BTW, I'm reading "Mao" by Jung Chang & Jon Halliday (http://www.amazon.com/Mao-Story-Jung-Chang/dp/0679422714) and it's truly scary how many similarities there are between Mao & Georgie's personality & strategies. Sure, Georgie hasn't killed millions of people (yet), but I swear he (& Rover) are following many of Mao's political strategies.

8. Always wonder if some of the callers are being paid to call in
and support Bushco.

There is a lot of propaganda money floating around in bushco's budgets and plenty of people willing to do anything for a buck.

9. No Republican has EVER said this about ANY Democratic President, EVER.
But then, Republicans are Gold Medal Hypocrites.
And they forget about pedophilia mighty quickly, too.

12. I'm hearing that from my dad
albeit a slightly different variation -- "my country right or wrong"

I asked him if this applied to universally, i.e. canadians should support their country right or wrong, mexico should support their country right or wrong

he said yes, this is what patriotism is about

then I asked him if any country has the right to remove a government of another country if they don't like it

he said no - each country has to stand and support itself, if the people don't like the government they have to change it for themselves...

Me: (with a big  ) then invading Iraq to for regime change was wrong? the Iraqi people should have done their own regime change? but the Iraqi people can't change their goverment because it's their country right or wrong? furthermore, 235 years ago, we shouldn't have revolted against England, because right or wrong - England was our country...

my dad just blustered ... that's different...
