Anyone listen to Dianne Reams on NPR yesterday?
Email from friend whose friend's husband over 50 called up because he had prior special ops training YEARS ago. HELL NO WE WON'T GO! NOT FOR A BUSHIT WAR!

1. I heard that. And did you notice that Gen. Odom didn't dispute it?
His response was just that he hadn't heard that the Army was going to go so "far back" to recall soldiers who had served 20 years ago!!! He didn't even express any kind of outrage either (even though he is against the escalation) or surprise - just a mild interest that the Army was going to be reaching that far back.

And the recalled soldiers had all been Special Forces. I thought that woman was going to cry on air she was so frightened.

By the way it's spelled Diane Rehm.
