You simply don't call it a tax "increase". It's a "surge" in the amount of taxes the top 1% pay. This temporary "surge" is necessary for us to win the war against the debt and restore economic "stability". Of course, it's only a "temporary" surge until our economy can stand-up. When it stands-up, the "surge" will stand-down.

1. It would probably work... |
|
so long as you call it a "war". If you call something a war, Republicans automatically assume that disagreeing equals cowardice, and are forced to go along with whatever it is.

2. We're not going to raise your taxes, we're simply going to surge them |

4. Hey! Condi just told the American people that a "surge" |
|
is not an "increase". We're not letting Bush's tax-cuts to the wealthy expire...we're simply allowing them to "surge".

3. We need to overuse the word "surge." It's a ridiculous attempt |
|
by the Republicans to side step escalation.

Call it a "Military Skills Draft" of "Pluripotent Americans" in The War Against Disease.
If you have the special skill of being able to differentiate yourself into multiple cellular types, then Uncle Sam wants YOU to get out of your cozy little liquid Nitrogen bath and Join The Fight Against Disease.

|
or pay 75% of their income in taxes?

8. Don't tell them at all. With all that money they would never miss it. |
|
Telling them about it just gives them a reason to bitch.

9. I have a better one: a $25 a golf ball tax, $15 for tennis balls, and only $0.10 |
|
for shuttlecocks.
