"It goes against what the voters wanted when we elected a new Democratic Congress," said Kim Kensler, an anti-war protester. "Bring them home."

They asked drivers passing by their protest to "Honk for Peace." They heard a lot of horns.

We went to VFW Post 606 expecting to find supporters of the troop escalation. We didn't. "In my opinion," said Bob Slasinski, a Vietnam veteran, "They should start bringing them back. We're sending them the wrong way. Send them home."

Slasinski says Iraq is too similar to the conflict in which he served. "Too many people are dying. Simple as that. For no reason really. We didn't do nothing there. Just died there," said Slasinski.
