Search of Senate and House websites turns up handful of mentions of Iraq oil
Search for "hydrocarbon law" or "production sharing agreement," both at the heart of the privatization and theft of Iraq's oil, and there are 3-4 references, most tangential to Bush forcing Iraq to draft a law that will give 75% of their oil wealth to American oil companies.

Do we truly have a democracy if a foreign policy question this pivotal to the war in Iraq is not only NOT being debated but not even discussed?

I was hoping that Congress was only blowing smoke up our ass in public, and having the real discussions behind closed doors.

I guess they don't even make the real decisions.
