Did Fox News hosts try to set Condi up with a female anchor?

Has anyone else heard this story?

I think they freaked out because for years there have been rumors - unsubstantiated from what I know - about Condi's true sexual orientation. She doesn't appear to date men. She's around 52 years old and has never been married. Her life's dream is to become the commissioner of the National Football League. And she had a very strange exchange on FOX News a few years back in which one of the FOX hosts seemed to be trying to set Condi up on a date with a female anchor at FOX (true story).

I know this story is based on more than the fact that Condi's "never been married", but

I'm 50, I was married for 8 years in my twenties to early thirties, no children. I've dated many women since then, some that my family has met. However, I live in San Francisco (sometimes the city, otherwise in the Bay Area), and I haven't remarried... so naturally MY FAMILY (in Arizona) has come to the conclusion that I'm gay. Un fucking believable. My own family.

Nice shot at rumor mongering, but she's been socially connected to a couple of men over the years, most recently a Canadian MP. The fact that her hook ups don't get covered like Angelina Jolie or Madonna doesn't mean they don't happen--it only means the lap dog press is still scared of the Bushies. I enjoyed the "my husb- the president" line as much as anyone, but that doesn't mean I have to put my critical faculties on hold or draw a solid conclusion based on one slip of the tongue.

I wasn't commenting on her sexual orientation, I was asking if the Fox hosts tried to set her up. I thought that that would have been a very unusual thing for anyone to do while on the air and I was wondering if anyone else had heard that story.

Look, if Condi is gay, more power to her. It's none of my business and I don't give a rat's ass, but simply ASSUMING a woman is gay because she happens to be career-oriented and didn't want a family and likes football is simply stupid.

Hell, I ADORE football and used to be a horse jockey and played with matchbox cars. I hate to shop and I think paying a fortune for makeup and hair treatments is ridiculous. If I wasn't married with one child and another on the way, I guess these Fox idiots would assume I was gay, too. :eyes:
