Man, I woke up this morning with my knee locked up. I could barely walk. Had to call in to work and my wife's going to take me to a clinic when she gets home this evening.
I'm not sure what happened, though I might have done something to it when I was laying linoleum in the bathroom yesterday. I didn't feel any pain when it happened, but, man, it hurts to walk now.
I'm making up for not being able to get around by writing. Working on my next sequel and throwing stuff out there for DU at the same time. And trying to raise my numbers on that reader's choice poll I've been touting the past few days. I went from number two to number seven and that's just not acceptable. ;)
I think we're beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. The naked chimperor isn't fooling anyone but the terminally stupid these days. Trying to provoke a war with Iran and/or Syria while simultaneously losing two other wars is a bit much for even the most ignorant hard-liner to swallow.
If the goal is to completely de-stabilize the region, they're on track for that. Can't figure out what they could possibly hope to gain by doing it, but, then again, I'm not a religious wackjob trying to bring on Armageddon.
I would hope that our leaders weren't either, but I'm really starting to wonder.
Oh, and here's an article I wrote on the subject just a little while ago.

http://www.critters.org/predpoll/author.shtmlYes, yes...I'm a shameless attention whore.
If you want to succeed as an author these days, you have to be. It's in our orientation manual. Scout's honor. (and, yes, I was a scout for a few months. So it counts).
