2. he appears to be
a good ol' Texas boy working in both Dallas And Lubbock before hittin' it big. He also seems to have somewhat of a military background in reporting having reported from Baghdad and also, in 1990, reported from the Persian Gulf on the Persian Gulf war. He more than likely will soft-ball Bush which is why he was given the go-ahead to do the interview. perhaps we should let 60 Minutes know how disappointed we are that they appear to have "caved" and allowed their show to be used as soft-core propaganda?

Of course, I could be wrong and he'll slam Bush, but ...

3. was after Clinton
Prior to that, he had been CBS News' chief White House correspondent since August 1997. During that time, he covered the investigation of President Clinton, breaking many original stories in the process.

6. CBS Clinton-hater
Was one of the most sneering of the network news Clinton-haters.

Seems to have been moderately pro-Bush over the past seven years; about the same level as the rest of the media whores, though not a standout Bushlicker.
