"That's the sound of children playing in the snow - in Las Vegas"
I just turned on the radio, it's the hourly news, then a couple of kids laughing and giggling, and the news announcer says "That's the sound of children playing in the snow - in Las Vegas".

2. In Henderson, NV
Which is a bit south of the strip, no snow yet, but my hope is to see it this morning. I was just out in the front yard and nothing yet.

4. The weather patterens are changing...
...Not only is it the Global Warming, its also the Il Nino...

I live in Indiana and we still have not had a freeze or snow. Over the years, its been rather obvious that the weather is changing, just over the last 10years there has been a dramatic difference.

7. For it to snow in LV is not out of the norm, nor is it for Tucson.
Edited on Sat Jan-13-07 08:54 AM by Neshanic
LV is on the sliver edge of the palm zone. It's in the Mohave desert, a colder place in the winter than the Sonoran, relatively speaking, which Phoenix and Tucson lie in. Tucson gets snow also at times. Now global warming is obviously screwing withe global weather, and maybe this will occur more often....
