China ("Who's Your Daddy, US?") warns Bush: No meddling in our Iran biz!
BEIJING --China warned the United States on Thursday not to meddle in its trade relations with Iran after Washington expressed concern about a Chinese oil company's planned investment in an Iranian gas field.

"We think this kind of cooperation and relationship is legitimate. Normal cooperation should not be interfered (with)," said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Jianchao.

Asked if that meant Beijing believed the United States was interfering in its dealings with Iran, Liu said, "This is our position."

1. Situational Complications...
From some another relatively recent poster, a link to an article that gives a considerable review of the geopolitics involving the U.S., China, Russia, Iran, etc. Seems reasonable and is borne out by this warning from China. Anyway, for your perusal...

The US and that 'other' axis

4. This is what its all about
Chinese development of Iranian energy resources is the key to who is going to control the US envisioned monopoly in the world energy trade. The controlling principle, you must use the petrodollar or else. The Iranian threat the international oil bourse at which dollars are not required. If Iran can develope its energy reserves in spite of the US led economic and financial embargo, the petrodollar slips to a new low after it breaks support at 80.
