Young Hornbeck's stepfather's comments about the absence of community and neighbourhood are as painful as the recovery of their son.

He was wonderful and he has me in tears.

I don't think that I would able to do this. I love the fact that he said that they wanted to do the press conference to give others the feul that had been given to them when Elizabeth Smart was found.

He said that when the Smarts had their press conference it gave them so much hope for their son and they wanted to give that back to some other family with a missing child.

Very generous of this family.
