Dick Cheney is the most dangerous man in history.
George Bush commands the most lethal military machine of all time and Dick Cheney controls George Bush.

George Bush is Dick Cheney’s most useful tool. Although he was never the sharpest tool in the box, the wear and tear from overuse is now showing in alarming ways. When Cheney completes his master work, Bush will be as useless as he was before the presidency was stolen for him. We have all known that Cheney is far more than Vice President. That office is merely convenient cover for an evil man’s realization of an evil dream. Dick Cheney is the architect of the imperial presidency and the American incursion in the Middle East. That makes him far more culpable than any of his underlings who get credit for dreaming up preemptive war and the permanent dominating presence of the U.S. military in the heart of the world’s largest oil reserves.

There is far too little being said about the huge military bases that Cheney's corporate cronies are building in a country we were supposed to someday withdraw from. There is no justification for our largest embassy being built in country where the vast majority of its citizens wants us dead or gone. The fact that only a handful of our current embassy staff in Baghdad are fluent Arabic speakers makes it clear that this mission has nothing to do with dialogue with the Iraqi people or the leaders we choose for them.

In Bush, Cheney has not only the keys to unchecked power but a perfect lightning rod. Bush has become such an unpopular figure that Cheney is able to lurk out of sight and push forward his plan with impunity. History forgets vice presidents. It will be Bush who will suffer lasting ignominy for enabling Cheney’s global treachery, whether it succeeds or not.

Cheney was conjuring up visions of world domination while the implement of his sinister dreams was still dousing his brain cells with alcohol and cocaine. George Bush was the poster boy for “cut and run” as he bailed out of one failed venture after another. Now we are to believe he has become steadfast and resolute. Bush is caught between the angry nation facing him and the hot sulphurous breath of Dick Cheney standing behind him. He can’t last much longer in this pressure cooker, but for Cheney’s plan, he won’t need to. He is so close to reaching his goal. The threat of a congressional challenge may just provoke him into accelerating his time line and attacking Iran tomorrow. He has been setting us up for this for six years and it is almost in place.

Imagine an imperial power that stretches from Syria to Afghanistan with willing accomplices as bookends in Israel and Pakistan. Our deteriorating status in the world will be solved by our unchallenged power as conquerors. The national debt we are amassing will be a trifle compared to the vast resources we will command. The dark, unsmiling Cheney is glowing within at what he has accomplished and will soon complete. When he takes time away from the business of killing his enemies, and brave young Americans in the process, to blast a few helpless birds, he must relish the lethal power he wields.

In two years, if the Constitution survives, a new president will be handed the Cheney legacy and, unless we stop him now, it will be a very dark legacy indeed.

1. Absolutely.
He is the real version of Dr. Evil, and every other super villain you can think of, only he's not a cartoon character, I think he's Hitler's equal, given enough time.

5. Although Cheney and Bush...
Edited on Sat Jan-13-07 05:49 PM by MarkTwain
... are horrible and evil little men, it might well be suggested that the following men and their actual detailed tolls leave even Cheney and Bush trailing in very distant positions:

Hitler, Six Million in his concentration camps plus another few million corollary deaths directly from World War II - and another few hundred million individuals and families directly and indirectly destroyed, harmed, and impacted by the events of the years 1939 through 1945.

Stalin, over Twenty Million of his own citizens dead - plus his entire country thrown into the depths of hell.

Pol Pot: "By far the most cruel and sadistic dictator in human history. It was under him that vast swathes of the Cambodian countryside became known as the 'Killing Fields'. Under his brutal reign of terror, unrivaled in all the long and bloody annals of human history, at least one in five Cambodians went to premature graves. He committed genocide against the Vietnamese living inside Cambodia and randomly accused any opposition of being either 'capitalist', 'fascist', a 'CIA agent', a 'KGB agent'... the list goes on. By the most recently assessments of his regime the death toll stands at around 2.4 million for the few short years he was in power. By some estimates the figure is well over 3 million - or half the population of Cambodia. ... " http://www.rateitall.com/i-878345-pol-pot.aspx

Indeed and although George Bush is suggested, a far more cogent review of evil - without the hyperbole and hysterics of the OP - may be found at:

http://www.rateitall.com/t-20916-most-evil-men-and-women-in-history.aspx

... which sensible and rational analysis - without the aforementioned hyperbole and hysterics - would agree without dispute.
