OMG--Anybody listen to Garrison Keillor tonight?
I only caught part of it but the Guy Noir segment was something about Guy & Nancy Pelosi settling the Bush admin to spend their last days in San Francisco. Tey gave Cheney a bottle of booze and a chair to sit in with a shotgun across his lap & he went to sleep immediately, & then they convinced Bush they had flown him to Baghdad to preside over the US victory there.

1. Honestly, I need a little fuller explanation.
Perhaps some background?

2. Like I said, I only heard part of it. Was hoping for more info myself.
But Keillor is getting bolder all the time in slapping the Shrubbies around on his show.

4. He started the show talking about Nancy
being qualified to run Congress because she had plenty of experience raising children.

9. heard some of it, hysterical
Guy found a country club resort that was semi shut down,
only the hired help was going there.

HE talked them into letting him bring some wealthy powerful
criminals there, to keep them occupied with smoking cigars
and drinking (something).

Then next thing you know, Guy and Nancy Pelosi bring
Cheney in, telling him its a new undisclosed bunker,
and install him into some suite in the building,
give him a drink, a cigar, and put a shotgun in his lap.

Next, Pelosi has the president blindfolded, and leads
him by the hand into the club.

She tells him that they are in Iraq, and doesn't let him
take the blindfold off until hes in the building.

Bush says that Nancy will have to take over while he and
Dick are out of service.

Nancy tells him not to worry or lose any sleep while she
is in charge, and Bush says - I won't, never have before,
why should I start now.

It was hilarious, especially the part about calling them criminals.

Bold.

13. Thanks--That was it.
It came on when I was on the phone & my caller kept prattling on about some trivial thing & I wanted to listen to Garrison.

10. I heard that part, it was great!
That was more blatant than usual, but he often slips a jab or two at the administration into his routines.
