The troop surge, funding and Hadley this morning on MTP.
I didnt notice if someone already mentioned this but...

I saw Hadley this morning with Russert say that they already have the funding from last years appropriation to send the new troops to Iraq and once they are in the field Congress would never refuse to fund them.

1. Funding dries up in June - all it takes is a spine - do Democrats have one?

2. Give Bush his surge for 6 months
if he and Cheney agree to resign if it doesn't work.

4. Cheney said congress can't do a thing
cheney as much as said that there is nothing congress can do if bush wants to send as many troops as he does to Iraq. And he also said that invading Iran is very possible.

Somebody remove these people from office. My brother keeps hollering impeach, impeach. We know it will take 17 republicans to go along but if they do go with impeachment it will take a year or more and by that time there may not be a United States of America left. What in the hell is wrong with these people. They have all the money in the treasury. We are broke. They own all the oil, natural gas, corporations. Why can't they be satisfied. Why are they going to take us into another war. Afgan is a mess we can't control it. Iraq is a mess we can't control it. HOW IN THE DEVIL CAN WE SUSTAIN ANOTHER WAR WITH IRAN.

6. Some say a picture is worth a thousand words. John Young/Cryptome
Edited on Sun Jan-14-07 07:02 PM by bobthedrummer
has just linked to a library with thousands of pictures taken in Iraq, most of them by AP employees.

Two warnings-the library contains pictures of dead and maimed human beings, US military, and many are of women and children, perhaps some are/were real terrorists. Access logs to the library are secretly monitored by the government, as John Young clearly states.

I don't have the tech or the heart to do any more than provide news of this library to DU and the many activists that might be able to do something with these pictures of what George W. Bush and his criminal administration have done in Iraq and also put OUR military through.

The war criminals responsible for the crimes against humanity documented by some of these pictures must resign/be removed from office and prosecuted. They must GO NOW. The US military depicted in these photos still in Iraq must come home now. To all OUR armed forces-stay safe, do not follow illegal orders.
