myspace.com - taken over by pornography and prostitution?

lately most requests for "friends" at our myspace page have been porn/prostitutes. when I go there, and there are NO friends request waiting, within minutes after logging in there will be half a dozen request show up from bimbo-porn sources. it is appalling that a billion dollar company like murdoch/fox/myspace cannot keep the porn spam out.

too bad if all the kids on their are also barraged by this stuff.

unless, of course, fox makes money selling this porn spam.

anybody else with a myspace getting this stuff?

I have a music MySpace website. The porners hit all the time now. The MySpace police usually expell them within 24 hours, but you have to delete your own spam. This never happened BR (before Rupert). But it's common now. Annoying, but I still have a positive vibe about MySpace. Great site.

I don't use MySpace a ton -- I tend to check it once a week or so -- but I got four messages last night from porn people (and three of them used the same pic but with different names), and the last three or so friend requests were for porn.

Now I'm not above mentioning that I view and enjoy porn sites, but I don't want it forced upon me, because once they start advertising to you, they don't stop.
