I refuse to watch bush
Edited on Sun Jan-14-07 09:07 PM by Botany
I have had it. The only time I want to see his ass again is when he is:

* Reading his resignation speech
* Giving sworn testimony to Congress or The Hague
* being handcuffed and taken away for his crimes

He is a liar and a psychopath who is willing to let tens of thousands more die
and get wounded just so he doesn't have to say he was wrong.

The man stole 2 elections, at the very least allowed 9-11 to happen because
of sloth, has allowed billions of dollars to be funneled to the people who least needed it,
oversaw the destruction of environmental standards and laws, packed the court
with far right wing nut jobs, turned over our energy future to oil & gas companies,
and lied to start an unneeded war which as of now he is trying to make even bigger.

Fuck him and the horse he rode in on to.

4. ever hear the story about when he invited Putin to his "ranch?"
President Putin said, "It would be an honor to ride with you Mr. President."
bush replied, "I don't know how to ride."

This situation is nothing to smirk about. And what was that he said about gratitude?

5. He's afraid of us!
There are many things the Crawford Coward fears-combat (if his ass is on the line), the rabble (us), fair play (where he would have to compete on a level playing field with every one else, no privilege, no perks), he is a chicken shit of extraordinary magnitude indeed!

I only watch him to see if my blood pressure will still rise enough to indicate I am still functionally alive-and you thought W was entirely worthless!

6. Same here......
not so much that I won't, I CAN'T! Seeing the giggling murder monkey's face and hearing him butcher the English language is more than I can take. I'm so ashamed to have this man as our pResident. What does his presence in the White House say about our nation? What sort of message are we sending the world with a half-wit like him as our leader? Until he's gone I will remain ashamed to be an American.

13. I reached that point a long time ago. But duty forces me to watch
It's like analyizing Rush Limbaugh. You know he is full of hot air and he's full of horse pucky, but you have to find out why he is so popular. I agree, he is everything you say, and worse. But he is a dceiver, a manipulator, who has so beguiled 25% or whatever if you can beleive the polls, that they love him.
I forgot he was on tonight, now I have to go tune in and see if he succeeds in hypnotizing me too.:hippie: :hippie: :hippie: I'll wear my three-D glasses though and sit down sideways, that way his stupid face and subsersive hypnotic trance won't get through!

19. I can't and won't watch him . . . there's no need . . . I know what he's going to say . . .
because it never changes . . . and it all amounts to him wanting to build an imperial presidency and project American military might across the globe whenever and wherever he pleases . . .

don't need to hear it anymore, and can't stomach the guy for five seconds . . .

25. I've come full circle
In the lead-up to the invasion of Iraq and for some time afterward I couldn't watch or listen to * without an unconfortable rage welling up inside me. If I was a dog my hackles would be raised like a punk rocker in full mohawk.

For the last couple of years I've managed to keep a lid on those strong emotions and look at * without having to restrain myself from hurling the nearest heavy object through the screen of my television. Or from just plain hurling.:puke:

Maybe it was outrage overload: a self-protecting disconnect that kept me from becoming physically ill.

Now that disconnect is beginning to reconnect and I feel like Howard Beale in the movie Network and screaming out the window at the top of my lungs I'M MAD AS HELL AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

26. Bush got 8 years to max out and complete the plans the ideologs/neocons
had planned way before Bush was installed by the supreme court.

Bush cabal can't complain, all George has to do is to make sure the Iraq war doesn't end before 2008 elections. (a confrontation with Iran would be a bonus though) They know they can't win 08 election but when considering what they've accomplished for themselves...? it's trivial, they've won.

32. Someone over in the astrology forum
said he has no aura.

Please...I don't want to hijack this thread by getting into a big hairy argument about whether auras actually exist. I happen to think they do, but I have no wish to proselytize in that respect. YMMV.

It's just that I've heard people talk about auras being rather muddy or very weak if that person is ill etc. But to have none at all? Yikes! I can believe it in Bush's case, however.

37. I actually watched his whole "speech" the other night.
Only because, to me, he actually looked terrified. I didn't see any cocky smirk this time. Of course, he was reading some dopey pap some staffer scraped together for him - all platitudes and nonsense about "victory". We lost this war the minute that idiot smacked the hornet's nest. We'll have hell to pay for the rest of our lives because of this.
