Which country will set us free from this dictator?
We can't rely on our own military to remove these jackasses from office. The US has taken it upon itself to liberate other nations from far more benign dictators. Dammit, who is going to save us?

We have set the standard for barbarism and brutality. I feel a strong need to find a quiet place to live in exile.

Liechtenstein, mayhaps . . .

Why should we expect Elysian Kells to save us when the Senate refuses to dirty its hands? They cannot care more for our liberty than we do ourselves.

7. Our good friends in Canada
could come on down. With most of our military in the M.E. we could just join them on the way to DC (I could be ready with 30 minutes notice). By the time we get there we should number about 2 million.

I have no idea why I chose Ireland. I need to visit that country and find some of my relatives over there. I will look in the bars, pubs and taverns, of course.

17. Visited Galway in June, 2004 -- just in time for anti-Bush parade.

That was in response to the entire area around Shannon airport being closed off during his visit.

It was an eye opening several days for us, & upped our embarrassment about him.

18. I said this in another thread - fuck impeachment, it's time for the 25th amendment.
Bush needs to be declared unfit to continue office. This is the only way to get our message across.

32. You think Bush will declare himself "unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office" ...
... under clause 3 or that "the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide" will declare him "unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office"?

Neither seems likely to me, but if it wewre to occur then in either case Cheney would perform "as Acting President."

Blecch!

they were elected, and running a war funded by congress. Supported and voted for by many in our party. This is not some 3rd world dump, they will be voted out.

14. Can we really wait until '08?
Technically, * wouldn't leave office until January 2009. Can we really afford two more years of His Majesty? How many more wars will he drag us into? How much more can he shred the Constitution? Just look at what Cheney has admitted to now, using the military to search the banking records of American citizens!

19. I think it will be France.
But poetic justice would be an invasion by Cuba and some of our own disenfranchised troops! Can you all imagine Jeb's big head exploding? (Figuratively speaking of course)when the beaches of Florida are "Stormed"?

25. Impossible, with the US sitting on Security Council
The US would surely veto any such measure.

I suppose the EU, OPEC, and other international organizations could levy their own sanctions on the US.

when papers were drawn setting out the war crimes? Sheesh, we are embarrassed enough now, that would be awful tho.
