Bitter Crackpot Vindication.

Do we get to enjoy the sense of vindication for a few moments before it all collapses? You know what I mean, the predictions we've made all along here are coming true, and we will soon have the unfortunate pleasure of saying 'I told you so you fucking idiots', but there won't be much pleasure in it.

For 6 years now we've been called crackpots. Conspiracy theorists. Left wing wackos, paranoid, sore losers and wingnuts. But we will soon be bitterly vindicated.

I'd like to look back at some of the predictions and theories about bushco that have been made here over the years and check them for irony and accuracy. I bet there are some real doozys, and I bet those who uttered them were ridiculed a lot.

No, we ain't Madame Cleo, but we've been chillingly correct on many unbelievable things.

2. A shallow victory....

when everything we predicted comes true and our country is reduced to a shadow of it's former self. Vindicated or not, we're in real trouble here and all of the gloating in the world isn't going to change it. I'd rather ahve been wrong and have our country on a decent path. Yeah, so we're better informed than a majority of the country, we're not as easily fooled and our critical thinking skills are more finely honed. We're still in the shit, smart and stupid alike, and we need to find a way out of this mess the neo-cons have dumped upon us.
