A march on Washington D.C. where hundred's of thousands, if not millions, show up to protest the war.

Why can't every liberal website, every liberal radio host, and every liberal pundit promote one single march on Washington? Make it a two week long event, with many anti-war speakers, and many more of us will come. Keep them small and fairly unorganized and most of us will stay home.

I can't think of any greater time than now. Over 60% of Americans are STRONGLY against this war.

How could it fail?

1. Re: Liberal March
Millions would definatly show up to an anti-war rally in DC. And I'm sure many of those who were hypnotized by Bill O'Really?, Ann-thony Coulter, Sean "Let's Save the World from Freedom!" Hannity and all those other right-wing freaks too believe that you were a traitor if you didn't support the war - they would show up aswell. I'm sure they've seen the light by now, and realize that this war has nothing to do with "conservative" values.

7. That's great, but how many do you expect to show up?
I've heard of this site maybe two times. I listen to liberal radio and liberal blogs daily. Why have I only heard of this site twice?

9. In September of '05
there were about 500,000. They're hoping to match or exceed that. I can't answer your other question, except to say that it's been posted here multiple times.

11. That's great.
I hope it gets at least that many.

As far as being posted here several times, I thinks that is only a tiny part of what I think needs to be done. It should be seen everywhere, not just occasionally on a few blogs and message boards.

5. There are no large media liberal radio hosts
Other a few on NPR.

Liberal marches are already using all the media resources they have available when organizing the marches they do have.

10. I'm sorry, but I don't agree.
If you do, then marches need to do a better job.

I want every host on Air America, Ed Schultz, Thom Hartmann, Stephanie Miller, etc.. to promote one single march constantly; not just when a random caller mentions it.
I want to hear it during every other commercial break.
I want to see advertisements for it in every major newspaper.
I want every democratic politician to mention it when asked what can be done to stop the war.

6. I am going to do my show from Washington next week.
I will be calling for such an event. The question is: Will I be able to raise the funds necessary to cover even part of my costs? In the past, such has not been the case.
