Georgie Visits School, Attempts to Color Inside the Lines ---pix--->>>

"One of the things that Mrs. (Coretta Scott) King wanted was for MLK Day to be a day of service," Bush said. "It is not a day off, but it's a day on. And so I'm here at Cordozo High School to thank the hundreds of people who have showed up to serve the country by volunteering."

I just heard the audio on NPR. He actually used the acronym, "MLK Day." Asshat.

In an unannounced visit, the president joined a community clean up project at Cardozo, where classes were not in session. A few hundred children, parents and local volunteers were at the school, many of them painting murals in the hallways to give the place a livelier look.

Bush, in rolled-up shirt sleeves, walked along a corridor and chatted up the volunteers, including Attorney General Alberto Gonzales.

Bush borrowed a paint brush dabbed in red ink, then carefully colored in the "B" of a stenciled drawing of "Ben's Chili Bowl." The local eatery is a Washington institution, known for its famous chili dogs and its rich history, including surviving the riots after King's assassination.

"Getting the drift of this thing here?" a smiling Bush asked as he painted, seeking approval of his technique. Volunteers nodded yes.

24. I saw it on the news...
and he had this one girl standing beside him shaking her head in agreement with what he was saying. I think that he is trying to go to some of the young and uninformed and trying to rewrite history...He is with the right group because he has the mind of a child...

25. See, that's what I was thinking about, too..
calling himself "the decider"? Who does that? And the rolled up sleeves, and the look of "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED" on his face after smudging a wall with red paint. It really blows my mind. I'm hoping one of these kids he likes to hang out with asks him the tough questions the reporters can't bring bring themselves to ask.

4. Ya George, that is what you should be doing, wasting time that
should belong to the POTUS. Go on, waste taxpayer money on vacations and photo-ops. Your legacy is the worst in modern times. The worst for the new century. The worst in this new millennium. Choke that down you fucking loser.

He just annexes more of the paper space and calls it "spreading color."

But I guess he can't get *anything* right. He also painted his sickle backwards, but that's just so....Chimp!

20. Bush should thank M.L.K., * did community service in Houston's MLK Center, for alleged cocaine use.
Book: Bush was arrested for cocaine in 1972

A new book by Texas author J.H. Hatfield claims that George W. Bush was arrested for cocaine possession in 1972, but had his record expunged with help from his family's political connections. In an afterword to his book "Fortunate Son: George W. Bush and the Making of an American President" (St. Martin's), Hatfield says he took a second look at the Bush cocaine allegations after a story in Salon reporting allegations that Bush did community service for the crime at the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center in Houston's Third Ward.

The center's executive director, Madgelean Bush (no relation to George W. Bush), had told Salon News and others that Bush did not do community service there, and the Bush campaign likewise denied the allegation. But the Texas governor had admitted to working at Houston's Project P.U.L.L. in 1972, and Hatfield says he began to wonder if that was actually the community service sentence. Hatfield says he confirmed those suspicions with three sources close to the Bush family he had cultivated while writing his biography, which publishes Wednesday.

26. Shouldn't the fuck head actually be working?
He spends way too much of his time reading kids books, painting, clearing bush, and riding bicycles.
On second thought, keep painting you fucking moran, and leave the real work to grown ups.

27. He can't even do real volunteer work.
He mouths off about service and the best he can do is spend two minutes painting a few inches of a frigging mural. If you're going to exhort people to volunteer, you ought to do something real.

The Principal is probably a big ReCon and she/he "picked" all of her faithful students and parents to be there.

Those that got so excited because they would get to meet the Chimp got picked in the final process.

We know how it works.
