He's looking like absolute hell lately. The speech in the library he really looked awful - like someone in the worst part of the flu trying to suck it up.... I'm really not wishing anything on him, nor am I "worried". But he just looks AWFUL - even for him.



And then there this someone posted from the school visit today - He looks absolute grey - my husband looked like that starting a few weeks before he had a heart attack.



And this was posted on Saturday coming back from Camp David and he looks like absolute hell here too.

Occam's Razor dictates that the theory that explains the most while relying on the fewest assumptions is the best. Bush shows every sign of full-blown alcoholism. It explains every aspect of his strange behavior and his declining physical appearance. While at the same time, this theory only relies on one assumption: that this admitted "former" alcoholic never stopped drinking. And I don't have a problem with that.

his hands and neck have it too. It looks just like a friend of mine who has a skin disease rosecsea (although I'm pretty sure that spelling is wrong). Whether he's drinking or not, I think that splotchy thing is a skin disease. -- he's had that awhile. What I mean really is how ashy he looks and how dead his eyes look so often.

I don't want him to become ill and die. I want him to live a very, very long life - so that he will see first hand how history views him. (A failure, a liar, a criminal, a mass murderer, and the worst President we've ever had.) However, I think it's just stress. Stress can do horrible things to your body; can even kill you.

But I agree, there's definitely something going on physically here. The wind has certainly been knocked out of his sails. Between the election, the Iraq Report, his poll numbers (although he doesn't pay attention to them *cough*), and most of his handlers bailing out on him, he's going through some real shit now. Well deserved. Long overdue. But real shit. I think it's been obvious for a while now that he's been hitting the booze again. And I don't know what they've got him on, but I think they tweaked his medication a little too hard for his address to the nation.

I thought the same thing when I saw the 60 Minutes interview. He looked grey. Yes, more "animated" but he was SELLING something. He even said so...."that's why I'm here doing this interview."

I think his handlers knew he blew the Wed. night speech, so they gently told him "animate...animate" (much like you'd do with a zombie)
