What do you think Bush Sr is thinking right now?
Edited on Mon Jan-15-07 10:31 PM by TwoSparkles
It really is extraordinary--and quite a slap in the face--that Bush Sr
attempted to usurp Junior's power by releasing the Iraq Study Group
report. The document damned the the war as a failure and predicted
anarchy for Iraq if a new course wasn't charted.

We now find out that Junior referred to the Iraq Study Group report
as a "flaming turd"--in off-the-record comments made to reporters at
"The Washington Post" and "The New York Times". Furthermore, Bush
made his angry "I'm the decider!" comments about keeping Rumsfeld,
during a time when rumors were flying that Sr. was pressuring
Junior to fire Rumsfeld.

Clearly, Sr. is a man watching his son swirl down the drain. Sr
tried to do what he has always done--bail out Junior before a failure
turns into a total catastrophe.

This time Junior said, "Screw you!" when daddy threw him a life preserver.

I don't think Sr. expected Junior to decline this help. I seriously doubt
Sr. viewed this help as something his son could reject. I think he fully
expected Junior to fall in line--as he's always done.

I think all of this is evidence that Junior really has completely lost
it. I really wonder...What Sr. is thinking? Will they do anything
else to stop Junior?. I can't imagine that Sr. and friends will just
quietly disapear.

5. My guess? I God, I should have never gotten married!
Barbara has to piss him off a lot! Shrub has been a disgrace to the family since he was a little kid! I'm not even SURE he's that proud of Jeb! Then of course there's the grand-daughters!

I believe, in the dark of night, when he's trying to sleep, he quietly cries for having produced such an embarassing offspring!

7. I think Sr. is ashamed and embarassed in private
In public he has to pretend. But, in private I'm sure there is much anguish. Much sadness.
He probably wonders why Jr. never outgrew his troubling personality and thinking. Wonders what he could have done to change things. Knows Barb will never let anyone interfere or put Jr. in his place like he should have done along time ago.
He is probably very worried about the country and the world. That he is the one who unleashed Jr. on it.
He wonders why it couldn't have been Jeb as they planned and jr. had to go and spoil it all.
He is sure the family name is dirt. That for the rest of this century no one related to them will be allowed to be in government and that they are ruined.
There is alot of sadness and anguish

15. My sincere hope is that he has Dimson committed.
Incidentally, he's not a fan of Cheney and if he accomplishes this Cheney will have to slink away with his tail between his legs.

But we can't let Bush 1 be a hero about this because he is a very big part of the problem and we need to expose all of it into a very bright sun of revealing everything that they have done in secret.

Halliburton stock is way up. The "patrician", ruling class has more tax breaks and power than ever. The people are still sheeple. Democrats have taken impeachment "off the table". We can rig the next election and the ones after that too. Smiles all around.

When Jeb Bush left the Florida governorship, he said in Spanish, "Yo tengo no futuro." I think that's what the Old Man thinks too - thanks to W the whole clan lacks a future.
