Governor of California gives last award at the Golden Globes
:puke:

Just what we need-- another bad actor pretending to be a public servant, pretending to be an actor.

The Best Film Award goes to "Baybel." (Babel in Arnie-speak)

The Mexican director of Babel took the Golden Globe at the microphone. Arnold hobbled off on his crutches. The director said,

"All my papers are in order, Governor, I promise."

:spray:

1. I watched. He was clearly in PAIN. He stayed off the drugs so he wouldn't
do a Paula Abdul, and the strain showed on his face...that broken leg is killing him.

3. Another reason not to have
HDTV.

Yet he mustered the strength to crutch back to the mic to deliver his "We'll be back" line.

7. And after all that, no one paid attention. He was probably the only one in the room who wasn't
totally hammered. That event is well attended because there's food and plenty of booze. It's why the speeches get more boozy as the night wears on; because the people are actually getting loaded. Not an easy venue for someone fresh outta rehab!

10. I don't mean to sound harsh but
I've had several broken legs in my life and they really didn't hurt. I mean they hurt when I broke them, but once my leg was in a cast they didn't hurt. What does Arnold need pain killers for?

13. No cast, it healed badly, they had to go back in and fiddle with it, or something
Anyway, it's hurting him. He was on TV earlier, not taking pain meds, and gritting his teeth.

At the GG awards, he looked like he was about a foot shy of the end of his rope...
