The day we embarked on this difficult and illegal war.
The day that our country sold out her citizens.
The day that our country lied to our troops.
THAT is a day that should be on the tips of our tongues as the casualties mount up.
Investigate 09-11...Mourn 02-05-03

1. That was the day Colin Powell 'testified' (lied) to the U.N.
The 2003 invasion of Iraq, codenamed "Operation Iraqi Freedom" by the United States, officially began on March 20, 2003.

Funny thing...my Granddaughter was born on 2-5-3.
My anniversary is March 20.

2. why feb 5?
I thought the war started in March and I went to an anti-war rally in Feb before the war had started.

4. "I" feel that was the day that the war started
Colin Powell whored it to the UN that day...it was a done deal.

10. Might it have been different if 20,000 people had come to our anti-war
rally in a city of 75,000? (not to mention that I drove 35 miles to get there). There were six or seven weeks between the presentation and the start of the war. CBS, though, was featuring 'countdown to war' as about half their newscast every night like it was only a matter of time. To me, the M$M were major enablers beating the drums of war.

5. 02/05//03 didn't have special effects and a cast of thousands
9/11 was the right dose of "shock and awe" that the average American needed to be convinced that we had to bomb Afghanistan (and incidentally make it safe for the oil pipelines to be completed by Unocal) and get Hamid Karzai into power (he worked for Unocal).

And for the hell of it, whoever orchestrated 9/11 also saw fit that a building not struck by aircraft also collapsed in its footprint (WTC 7). Watch it fall yourself...

8. I've seen it
and I am convinced. Showed it to a couple of Republicans. They seemed shocked. Didn't want to talk about it then and they don't want to talk about it now.
However...they didn't vote in the last election.
I think the truth will be extremely painful for many because they will realize they weren't paying close enough attention.

6. I remember 12/12/2000, the day 5 REPUBLICAN-appointed members of the Supreme Court
abrogated the constitution and sold us out to Bushco. THAT is the day that started this whole horrid, almost unimaginable nightmare.

11. That should be on the agenda now.
Impeach the justices that brought this unholy reign of terror upon us. I was wondering if we can appeal the verdict in Bush v. Gore now that Rhenquists substance abuse has been revealed. That is what would happen in a criminal case. Just a thought.
