Maybe I'm misreading the tea leaves, but, dern, they really aren't talking about Repuke candidates as anything other than irritants to Dems talking back the WH.

2. Of course, because repukes only have roach-eating lizards.

6. No one is willing to discuss ...
... the "presidential hopefuls" from the Republican side, because any one of them might wind up in "Non-Electable Land" after the investigations that the Dems have slated get underway.

A lot of the RW pundits got severely burned touting MaccacaBoy as Most Likely To Succeed throughout 2005-06, and another odds-on favourite, Santorum, proved that he couldn't carry his own state, no less the country.

I suspect the pundits will be extremely quiet about potential GOP candidates for quite a while to come -- besides, what's the point of even musing over possible Republican candidates when, thanks to the Madness of Bush George and its attendant impact on his party, no one will even be looking at the GOP nominee -- no matter who he is -- as a serious contender.

7. Interesting.
I hadn't thought about that angle, but you're correct. There's no telling how many Repub(s) will go down during those investigations!
