3. There are a few people left in the country
Who don't pay attention to politics... but would you want them on your jury? I'm betting they would all be tossed out of the pool.

I wouldn't even try to lie about it... my eyes would give me away... the flames of hatred for those bastards is just too hot to tame.

10. Of course. (All kidding aside...)
If "the rule of law" isn't upheld for all, then it isn't upheld for any. So ...

throw the lying bastard in solitary confinement until he squeals on Dickus Maximus and the Cabal.

16. Yes, I could. I have to be fair and impartial every day in my job.
I have clients (no, I'm not an attorney) who cover the political and social and economic spectrum. I also have to work under a ton of laws and rules and policies and procedures, which I stick to. It doesn't matter what I might personally think of a particular person; I follow the law in doing what I do.

18. Yes. A trial is about hearing evidence, not personal feelings
whether you think they are guilty or not, but about what evidence is presented how. Could I listen and judge that, putting aside my feelings? Yes. If he got off I'd be really pissed at whatever attorney did it though.

I could be VERY fair and Impartial.....sentencing him to a nice sabbatical to Guantanamo Bay, with summer tours to Abu Ghraib... Of course, if he coughed up the goods on the rest of the slobbering evil trolls, he could do a stint in General Population in, oh I don't know, Corcoran with a week or two in San Quentin. There's an absolutely lovely view of San Pablo Bay from the "Q".

So, who is this Libby guy?
Did he steal a scooter or something?

I'm sorry, haven't been paying any attention to the news. Don't read the newspapers, don't watch TV, and I certainly don't surf the web or visit partisan websites like DU.

So, I guess I'm ignorant enough to be a fair juror...

21. Right-wing framing: Fitzgerald same as Nifong
Nifong & Fitzgerald's Prosecutorial Abuse

...Liberals rushed to condemn the Duke lacrosse players because they loved the narrative: rich white guys abuse poor black woman. Some furious backtracking is taking place as evidence of their innocence mounts. A new verb, to "nifong," has been coined. It's a synonym for "to frame."

Liberals also loved the original narrative in the Plame case: Bush aides persecute whistle blower. But the disclosure that Mr. Armitage was the source demolishes it as thoroughly as the DNA evidence has discredited Mr. Nifong.

Those who wonder why Mr. Nifong went forward with the Duke prosecution after receiving the DNA results should wonder also why Mr. Fitzgerald has persisted despite learning that no crime was committed when Ms. Plame's name was leaked, and that Mr. Armitage (who has not been indicted) was the leaker. Is to "fitzgerald" a synonym for to "nifong?"

27. YES, I do not like BushCo but I'm very open to hearing Libby's explanations as to why a CIA officer
was outed.

Let's give ol' Libby a fair hearing, I say. Cheney Dickhead, too. Let the chips fall where they may.
