And WHY has this been a fairytale season for the Saints, Mr. Obama?
So instead of merely making jocular boasts about the big game on Sunday to keep your mojo rolling, how about showing me what kind of leadership skills you have, and spearheading some action from the now Democratic Congress with regards to Katrina relief and investigations for those who are still being criminally neglected, sequestered, and silenced in their own country?

2. C'mon,...giv'im a break!...
...after all, I know for a fact that if the Saints win this upcoming game, and actually go to the Super Bowl game, Jesus, himself, will descend from the heavens at half-time, shake a few hands, pose with some of the faithful, then ascend to a specially reserved sky box, where he will dine on manna and wine and watch the rest of the game, before re-ascending into the clouds saying, 'Nah, not yet. I just had to see this with my own eyes!'

6. and Bum Phillips will be assumed bodily
into Jesus' sky box, then ascend directly to heaven following the Saints' victory.

and the angels shall sing hosannas, and chorus after chorus of "Who Dat".

7. I misrepresented myself. I like the ribbing, but I want him to step up, and do something real, too
I'm not at all bent out of shape about the boasting.

I'm just saying, instead of just making cracks about the game to show us you're just like the gang down at the office, how about showing some real leadership, and leading your colleagues to some real action on Katrina.

Give me a reason to get behind you in the primaries, besides your wit and eloquence. Here's your chance...

9. I love his personality, but he's got about a year to do something substantial
and while he's on the subject of the Saints, hey, maybe it'd really impress the electorate if he could get the ball rolling on this criminally negligent Katrina aid and investigative effort.

13. I want Obama to root for his team, and to win the primaries--my gf just told me people are really
giving him flack about pulling for the Bears. I think that's absurd. I'm not saying that at all.

I'm saying, while we're on the subject, here's an invitation to knock one out of the park, and put something on your resume that puts you ahead of the pack.
