What does DU get when we order books through the Amazon link?
I ordered a lot during christmas and I just order another $200+ worth of books through the link on the main page. Is it a percentage or a set amount per order?

1. percentage
The more they sell, the higher the percentage goes. If they are really big big sellers, say over 5000 books a quarter, they could probably negotiate 10% or more. Good deal for a site this big.

3. What??
People use credit cards to buy online, so I don't suppose it really matters who they buy from, now does it.

5. Isn't Amazon red?
I always pay more to order from Barnes & Noble online because they're blue. I didn't realize DU could get a cut of the Amazon profits. Hmm..now I have to re-think my book buying habits.
