Bush Administration is the weakest Executive ever

As they try to gain new powers and abuse ones they already had, you have to look at the irony and look at this current Administration and realize just how weak and petty they really are.

Conservatives and Republicans are arguing for a stronger executive. "We're at a time of war, we NEED a strong Executive Branch!" But, it's sad that we have never had an Executive Branch be weaker than this one.

When someone says something bad about them, they leak information about that person's wife or family to the media.

They have spent billions on propaganda to convince the American People to go along with them.

They say they don't follow the polls, but they spent a month looking for a way to send MORE troops into Iraq and still look good while doing it.

They kowtow to the interests of the wealthy and of the corporations.

With faced with mountains of evidence that debunk the things they claim, when it came to Iraq, when it came to the Insurgency, when it came to the Civil War, they just stick their fingers in their ears and say "I CAN'T HEAR YOU!"

The Bush Administration has powers that only a mad Dictator could want, stepping over the branch that is supposed to keep it in check, but the Executive has never been weaker and more closer to collapsing and turning into something else, something more horrible, than ever before.

These guys do want ever they want DESPITE the election results and DESPITE what congress says (and even when their flunkies were in control they wrote little signing statements to get exactly what they want. And believe me, as someone who recently just "quit" a government post that seemed as far away from their politics as possible,where the competent people who did their jobs but didn't play along with the party lines so to speak were dismissed their attitudes and policies seem to be spreading throughout the government...like a bad virus...:-(
