Who'll pull The Sword from the stone
or are we waiting for a new messiah.
I went to my local hardware store and bought a pitchfork and a tiki torch (that will be fueled
with hemp oil) and am ready if needed.
Better would be non-violently ala 'V'

1. Sword? As in Excaliber?
Edited on Wed Jan-17-07 01:18 PM by Buzz Clik
"Listen -- strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony. You can't expect to wield supreme executive power just 'cause some watery tart threw a sword at you!"

2. Waiting for the Next "Hero"
is exactly the wrong course and the antithesis of V's message, which included much violence and killing.

3. Someone who doesn't know doing so will get them shot.
It'll be harder to get people to pick it back up after three or four of those.

5. People seem to think the pendulum swings of its own accord
That sometimes its on the right and sometimes its on the left. But the truth is that it swings not due to its own energies. But rather due to people actually grabbing the bloody thing and dragging it back to the other side. Our generation seems to be waiting. Waiting for some magical event to initiate the swing back. The right having caught hold of the media though has silenced the greatest tool society has with which to bring the people together in order to pull the pendulum back. We have been numbed and silenced by the media. And thats just the way they like it.
