6. Lol. Me, if those are my choices.
Edited on Wed Jan-17-07 01:37 PM by Strawman
Lame joke, I know. "Death is not an option" always seems to follow hypothetical, sadistic choice games like these. Strategically, the war is the most salient issue for me, so in that sense, I suppose Hagel would be the better choice. That's still an awful choice though. I'd probably vote for a Green in that instance.

3. So there's no Dem in the running?
Is that like asking would you like to be kicked in the head or in the sweet spot?

8. I'd rather vote for Jonathan "The Impaler" Sharkey

The following is a post from the self-loathing gay Republickers at "Gay Patriot":

Impaler for President Update!
Posted by GayPatriot at 8:00 am - December 12, 2006.
Filed under: 2008 Presidential Politics, War On Terror, Post 9-11 America, World War III

As a reminder to those of you unhappy with your potential 2008 choices, GayPatriot will be monitoring our favorite Independent candidate -- Jonathon "The Impaler" Sharkey.

This email from the Presidential hopeful should spice up your morning....

Though Presidential Candidate Jonathon "The Impaler" Sharkey is not holding a Media Press Conference to unveil his new "Impaling Stake" until December 13, 2006 at 1pm in Brunswick, Ohio (the hometown of his wife Spree), he is the talk on the Internet.

Besides guarantying Victory in 2008, Jonathon "The Impaler" guarantees that he will Impale either a criminal or terrorist before the 4th of July 2007. Jonathon doubts it will be here in America. He is getting request from other country's to make an appearance, with his Impaling Stake. The American Vampyre from New Jersey is out for BLOOD! The BLOOD of our enemies!

I know I'm just another tool for the Impaler's campaign... but I can't help myself.

-Bruce (GayPatriot)

9. Trick question
it is not possible for Lieberman to garner the D nomination. I can't picture Hagel getting an R nomination either.

11. If these were the only options from which to choose,
I would write in Mickey Mouse or just stay home. Depressing options.

12. Well, I did have to make a quite similar choice in 2005:
If I had to vote for Tony Blair or Michael Howard, who would I vote for?

Answer: Neither (chose to vote for the Liberal Democrats). If there had been no reasonable third-party option, I'd have written someone in, or spoilt my ballot paper.

Would do the same under the conditions that you describe.

14. Iraq is not the only issue
for most of the country, at least, until there is a draft.

And Lieberman has been holding Democratic principles.

the troops home.
