James Nichols, the 28-year-old Peshtigo man accused of fatally shooting and stabbing Cha Vang in the Peshtigo Harbor Wildlife area, allegedly made disparaging remarks about Hmong hunters after the shooting, according to the criminal complaint charging Nichols with murder.

A detective reported that “Nichols stated that the ‘Hmong group are bad,’’ the complaint said. In another interview, Nichols said, “the Hmong are mean and kill everything and that they go for anything that moves.”

3. Things are very ugly and racial tensions are very high around those parts.

The victim was shot with a shotgun, stabbed 8 times in the neck and had a 4 inch piece of wood jammed down his throat.

Hell during the Chai Vang trial I saw a couple of trucks up there with "Save a Hunter, Shoot a Hmong" stickers on them.

4. Maybe this guy was out for revenge?

Chai Soua Vang ( born September 24, 1968) is a a naturalized U.S. citizen and a Hmong immigrant from Laos. While hunting, Vang shot several deer hunters in northern Wisconsin on November 21, 2004. Eventually, six of the hunters died and two were left wounded.

7. I'm not a hunter, nor are any of the poiuytfamily

but the woods are getting scary in NE WI. It was on the news today that Nichols gave the sheriff 3 different stories about what happened. Each one got more outragious. Nichols is a racist and an idiot. A real prize package. Boy as soon as the Packers close up shop all the nuts start falling out of the trees!
