Could Wolf Blitzer's speaking cadence be any more obnoxious?

I'm here doing some paperwork for my practice with him speaking in the background. A commercial started and I realized that normal media speech, no matter how patronizing - even a Wal-Mart ad - is preferable. During the day, I have MSNBC or CNN on continuously and no one, and I mean NO ONE breaks through my concentration like Wolfie/Leslie does.

It...is anexampleof loooooong pronunciation of some words followed by runtogetherphraseology, followed by a pause before therunonconclusiontothe .......sentence; the last word being separated from the rest for....accentuation.

The only times that he ever showed any humanity was when Cafferty mentioned that maybe Wolfe's wife was watching him say something and then Wolf replied that he guaranteed him she WASN'T watching...rather ruefully.

Where did that delivery come from?
