1. cuz he knows the GOP would beat her

He's untrustworthy...

Obama and Edwards are much stronger candidates who he derided...

4. yeah DU's being pretty buggy
Buchanan might be a paleocon, but I'm sure he still has an interest in keeping the GOP successful (notice the shilling for Bush).

5. I Do Not See A Scenario Where HRC Wins A General Election
Unless the GOPUERS run a batshit candidate like Duncan Hunter or Sam Brownshirt which they are too "smart" to do...

6. Does HRC have ANY grassroots support?
I see her poll numbers are huge and I'm wondering who is supporting her. It's certainly no one I know, except for one individual who up till a week ago had never even heard of Barack Obama (doesn't follow politics).

7. She Doesn't Have Any Grass Roots Support Here....
I think some Democrats rightfully like the Clinton brand but we're electing a president not buying cereal...

9. In NYS
she has a very well-run grass-roots level political machine. In the recent election, she had more votes than any democrat running for senate that I can remember, including RFK and Moynihan. Her numbers indicated that her appeal cut across party lines, and that substantial numbers of republican women supported her.

10. This is NY
I'd like her to cut across party lines in the Rust Belt, and see whether her triangulating free-trade suicidally imperialistic and bankrupt agenda will fly there.

15. I am not
an advocate, nor a critic, of Senator Clinton. I do think it is worth pointing out that she would have substantial support, should she run for president. It is silly to pretend otherwise. At the same time, she would have substantial opposition; it is equally silly to pretend otherwise.

12. where do you see her poll numbers are huge?
The highest I've seen her numbers for the nomination are in the mid 30's and most of that is name recognition at this point. If she isn't doing better than that at this stage with all her negatives once we get into the campaign season with other candidates she will slip even further. As it is a new rasmussen poll out has her with 22% nationally vs. 21% for Obama and then 15% for Edwards.

A Iowa poll out by Zogby puts her in third tied with Gov. Vilsack with Edwards and Obama leading.

17. Oh, I'm thinking of the 36% I saw somewhere else
It was about a month ago. Obama and Edwards were tied at around 15%.

18. Republicans have already nominated HRC as the Democratic nominee for years now.
Why might that be? Anybody suspicious about that? Also, if by some chance she were elected, would she be known as President Hillary?
