Talk about a change of attitude in congress.
If the republicans don't think the last election was a major political earthquake and rebuke of conservatism, they're not acting like it. Congress has been on it's best behavior since the Dems took over. It's as if the Republicans have been unshackled and are openly opposing the president. The Bush scam worked when they had total control. It's falling apart badly since that changed.

It's refreshing to see congress uphold their part of the bargain.

1. I agree
They are free to serve the people and not their master anymore.
It is refreshing.

some of the pugs who still have a semblance of humanity are waking up from their long sleep. gonna take a lot of rehabilitating, though, before I forgive any of them for their complicity in this mass rape of our form of government

4. We haven't even gotten to the hard part yet.
I have a feeling the pukes are in for a beating again in 2008. It's not nearly over.

5. It's because they no longer have anything to loose and they see
Bush as betraying them in the elections. So they are unleashing 6 years of pentup fury. and taking glee in it.
