Global Warming deniers are not only stupid, but they are dangerous

I'm glad that Heidi Cullen is calling for the decertification of Global Warming deniers. It's a nice start. I'd love to see these people stripped of any teaching positions as well. We can't allow these right-wingers to influence our young people. Denying global warming is not only ignorant, but it's also dangerous, putting our entire planet at risk. Think about it - if these skeptics had their way, we would do absolutely nothing to curtail global warming. Their actions would not only fail to address the problem, but they would exacerbate the situation, perhaps bringing about drastic climatic change even faster.

Sounds like you are up to speed on global warming.

I've been looking for something very official about number of scientists that agree there is global warming -AND- that it is man made vs. the scientist that think it's nature.

wikipedia has a list of the deniers but I was looking for a LIST, a NUMBER of, and PERCENTAGE of accredited scientist that think GW is real and is man made.

Can you help?


PLEASE don't send me to Inconvenient Truth web site. I love Al Gore but his message is lost in the political bs of Kansas. We need the scientists.

2. Honestly, I'm not really sure

I'm sure that there are others here that would be much more knowledgeable, and could point you to some good sources. I think if you check out any number of scientific websites, you should be able to find what you're looking for. You can always Google it.

I think it's safe to say that the overwhelming majority of scientists agree that global warming is not only real, but that human industrial activity is to blame for it.

The most outrageous claim I've heard is that global warming is caused by the sun getting hotter. How fucking convenient is that?
