Perhaps the problem is that Bush wants a *Library*
Maybe he'd be more successful in finding a site if he chose another way to memorialize himself. A few suggestions:
  • The George W. Bush Fake Ranch and Petting Zoo

  • The George W. Bush Liquor and Cocaine Supermart

  • The George W. Bush Church of the Apocalypse

  • Lake Bush National Recreation Area (formerly New Orleans)

  • The George W. Bush Center for Sociopathy and General Assholery

  • Lil' Georgie's Prosthetic Limb Workshop

  • The George and Laura Bush School of Drunk Driving

  • The George W. Bush Big Pile of Dead Iraqis

  • The George W. Bush Supermax Prison (Main exhibit: George W. Bush)

14. Beat me to it too.. But of course the will still be a "satistststics" section
whether it's a liberry or a library.

They might as well put in a ferris Wheel & a roller coaster too...there should be plenty of roon . (the Bushies like to lock up most things)

the librarian will just sit there and stare at you for 7 minutes.

9. That thing is going to be an enormous vault and a massive gift shop.
You'll be able to buy your own life size cardboard cut out of Herr Bushler to worship.

13. He should give in to the public will and have an anti-Bush library
Edited on Thu Jan-18-07 05:56 PM by aint_no_life_nowhere
He should just face the fact that his only success is in the degree that he is universally hated. I'm sure they'd have no trouble finding a site willing to host an anti-Bush library, but they'd have trouble finding one big enough to stock all of the anti-George Bush books and films that continue to accumulate through the years. They could broadcast over the loudspeaker his best Bushisms 24 hours a day. And George himself could come by every now and then and stick his head through a hole with a bullseye for the public to throw balls at. He should just resign himself and go with it. The place would become as popular a family destination as Disneyworld.

19. and acknowledging how lazy and thin-skinned he is ...
... thanks to modern technology, he wouldn't even have to show up in person. They could have a bunch of look-alike animatronics, spewing Bushisms and posing in flight suits or cowboy attire. Apparently they have a robot LBJ in Austin that leans on a fence and tells jokes ... with advances in electronics, it surely wouldn't be difficult to make a robot Bush that falls off his bicycle on cue and insults visitors.

18. Or the library could be in here

Years from now, young Americans might have trouble actually believing that something as weird and incompetent as George Bush actually became President and the most powerful man in the world.

Given the sheer volume he's created, it'd be a toxic landfill.
