Bill O member of Nambla? He was preaching their word...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NAMBLA

The North American Man/Boy Love Association (NAMBLA) is a New York City and San Francisco-based unincorporated organization that opposes the use of age as the sole criterion for deciding whether minors can legally engage in sexual relations. NAMBLA defends what it asserts to be the right of minors to explore their sexuality on a much freer basis. It has resolved to "end the oppression of men and boys who have freely chosen mutually consenting relationships", and calls for "the adoption of laws that both protect children from unwanted sexual experiences and at the same time leave them free to determine the content of their own sexual experiences."<1> NAMBLA's webpage states that 'NAMBLA does not provide encouragement, referrals or assistance for people seeking sexual contacts' and that it does not "engage in any activities that violate the law . . . advocate that anyone else should ."<2>

5. He cannot, of course, subscribe to Stockholm Syndrome.
He'd have to forgive Patty Hearst.

6. All righty :) IMHO that's how I read this exchange
http://truecrimeblog.blogspot.com/2007/01/bill-oreilly-on-ben-ownbyshawn-hornbeck.html

(couldn't find another transcript to load right away -- past beddy bye time, but this has been infuriating me)
<snip>
BOR: Let me answer your question. This is what I believe in the Hearst case and in this case. The situation that Hearst found herself in was exciting. She had a boring life, child of privilege. All of a sudden she's in with a bunch of charismatic thugs and she enjoyed it. The situation here with this kid is looks to me to be a lot more fun then when he had under his own parents. He didn't have to go to school, He could run around and do what he wanted.

GVS: Some kids like school --

BOR: Well I don't believe this kid did. And I think when it all comes down what's going to happen is there was an element here that this kid liked about his circumstances...

7. Okay

...that's how you read it.

That's not how I read it...O'Reilly is not preaching the word of NAMBLA.
<He didn't have to go to school, He could run around and do what he wanted.> That appears to be all that O'Reilly is preaching.

Don't get me wrong, I hate BOR and he's a creep beyond belief...but I just can't see that he is preaching NAMBLA.

As you said just my opinion.

Cheers :toast:

4. Sick bunch of wackos.
They can argue whatever they want about little boys' "exploring" their sexuality. The reality is it's a bunch of old pervs who want to grope young flesh. It's about them exercising power over the naive and gullible. I have a friend who was molested for two years by a Nambla type perv. He had all sorts of head tricks he played on an 11 year old boy, suggesting to him what this kid "wanted". The head trips are just part of the sick domination game. Nambla membership alone should justify massive search warrants on those old pervs' computers and basements.
