Remember When
There was no war in the Middle East, and the price of a gallon of gas was 1.29?

Remember when...........

One could log onto the internet and not have a concern, or even to the level of fear, that the government was watching your every move?

Remember when.............

People could go to a public place and not worry about their words and images being used by the government?

Remember when we were ..........

Free?

What does that mean? I need someone to tell me what freedom now means in this sadistic, manipulistic, corporatistic, monopoplistic world?

Does it still have any meaning at all?

4. semi oops
others used to talk about peace and made it happen?

Remember when others used to worry about global warming before it happened?

Remember when others worried about the population explosion, and the consequences it would have on the human race?

Remember when people actually thought beyond their own simplistic, superficial lives and were concerned about others who lived a different kind of life?

Remember true empathy?

Remember feeling close to people? Closer than you would ever feel to people today.

Remember when............

What a waste of civilisation.

I don't expect, or necessarily want, a response to this, and hope it falls quickly.

This civilisation has disappeared. It has not gone into hiding; it has disintigrated.

Be happy while you can.

peace, and remember when.
