1. It's wonderful to actually see the Dems and even some Pubs
voting for things that actually benefit the American people instead of only thebusinesses for a change! It's sure been a very long time!

I also watched closely, and I didn't see any Tom DeLay types roaming around twisting arms!

I think it's a radical improvement! Lets hope it lasts!

2. Can't say Strongly Approve because...
...of the waffling on Iraq and impeachment. The 100 hours agenda was great and I Approve of Mrs. Pelosi's ability to get so many Repuke votes. There are however those other issues to be addressed.

3. I voted disapprove. Gee, who do you think may be Prez in two years Obama or Hillary?

Disapprove, just to offer some difference than the predictable robotic responses...What results does one expect to get in a poll on DU...Is this just Friday fun?

Sorry, I don't see what other results one would expect to see on DU but a majority saying approved...Maybe it's just some much needed stroking.

Ya think the Dem's will get around to getting rid of electronic voting machines and offer new voting legislation & protections?

I have about a couple dozen other questions about legislation...after the Dem's do their 100 hour dance...after they been officially the majority party for more than six or seven full working days.

Gee, who do you think may be Prez in two years Obama or Hillary? I like George Clooney cuz he's so dreamy...You think he'll run? I hope so...Clooney for Prez and Jessica Simpson for VP they would make a great team!!!!

4. I'm an "undecided".
Positive actions thus far, but let's face it. There's still a war to get rid of/investigate, corrupt voting to investigate and a certain certifiably insane Chimpstain that needs to get the BOOT.

7. Well they got the minimum wage passed in about a week.
That has to be worth something. Hell, the republican controlled congress hasn't done it over a decade.

8. They haven't had much time since assuming power.
I think this poll should be reposted in 3 months.

9. Some people would have nothing to say if they couldn't whine about something
some people are just never satisfied unless they get everything they want RIGHT NOW!

I am satisfied with what they are doing, and look forward to more action in the coming weeks.

11. Until the leadership fulfills their oath and impeaches their impotence merits contempt.
Edited on Sat Jan-20-07 02:58 PM by pat_k
A majority of the nation views the Democrats as wimps. Anything less than Impeachment just confirms their impotence. (Cutting off funds is useless; Bush will raid the budget and do what he wants. Passing legislation is useless; Bush will veto or nullify with a signing statement. . .).

What part of drunk with power don't they understand? When will they break the bonds of denial and derilection and see the truth: that impeachment is the ONLY way to "take the keys" from these drunk drivers.

12. I'm happy with what they've accomplished, but they need to do the hard shit now.
This administration is full of tyrants and traitors. They must be stopped and removed from office. Now is NOT the time to pussyfoot around trying not to offend the party responsible for this criminal administration in the first place. Impeach them, now. End this war, now. Give us justice, now.
