The peasants in Iraq just want to raise their families, just like the truck drivers from Ohio. But because of that the bad guys sneak in to power. I cannot blame people that are uninterested, but I can say it is their fault.

Nope. Not a clue what you were in fact trying to say.

I gave it a shot, but just damned if I know.

Either I'm too tired to grasp it, or you're too tired to effectively present it. Maybe both. Who knows.

4. Unfortunately, people desire "leaders" - aka bosses.
And, once the Leader/boss has power he/she succumbs to Lord Acton's axiom to the detriment of the people.

9. Yes, it would
I have tried to stay away from politics, but I can't. My life would seem to be so much easier if I could.

I have often wondered why some people must pay attention to what's going on in the world, and others are apathetic.
