(Not so) holy Joe.
Edited on Sun Jan-21-07 08:42 AM by MyPetRock
This man has some nerve acting like he can dictate morals and foreign policy to Americans. From his DIVORCE to ignoring genocide to his recent betrayal of Connecticut voters, he has the moral compass of a shark.

This 2000 article from Alternet reveals LIEberman's blatant hypocrisy.

The mainstream media has been spouting volumes about Joe Lieberman's "moral authority," but what about his involvement in sketchy campaign contributions, his silence on recent genocides or his own divorce?

on edit: I emphasized divorce because it is very frowned upon by Orthodox Jews. There is nothing wrong with divorce per se, aside from the emotional trauma it can wreck on families, but he has no business spewing his holier than thou rhetoric when he does not hold himself to the same standards he preaches.

6. I think he had the mistaken notion that he should distance himself from Clinton.
LIEberman was the most outspoken, morally indignant, US Senator against Clinton.
