Hey blastocyst lovers
Below are some serious questions I have for those who equate blastocysts with human beings.
I post this text on mixed message boards.
I think I have some valid points here.

------

It appears that the pResident will veto the stem cell bill recently passed by the Democratically controlled House of Representatives:

Stem Cell Bill Passes Easily, But Veto Looms
Wes Allison

http://health.theledger.com/article/20070119/TOPSTORY/3252/-1/RSS2&source=RSS

A few questions for those that approve of this upcoming veto:

Where are the protests against the fertility clinics that produce these excess and discarded blastocysts?
Why, if as the pResident says, destroying them is akin to murder, why then is he and you all not lobbying to shutdown the private sector clinics and fertility research centers?
It is "murder" isn't it?
Why no demand to shut down the clinics?
Where is your core?

Stem cell research...another area where the Democrats and Republicans are not "all the same".
Another topic where the Republican Party is out of touch with the citizens... to the detriment of their Party.

1. Just tell them
that no one wants to clone THEM.

That oughta shut them up. :)

3. If the blastocysts have tiny little human souls in them, then...
1) Destroying them frees their souls.
2) Since they were produced without the sexual act, they are "conceived" without sin, and get a free ticket straight to heaven.
3) If you clone them and make copies of them, you are creating multiple little souls, all free of sin, all going straight to Heaven.
4) Perhaps this is where angels come from? Every time a stem-cell dies, an angel gets its wings?
5) God is going to need all the angels he can get if he is to win the coming battle against Satan.
6) We should urgently start creating and destroying as many blastocysts as we can, so Jesus can defeat Satan!

Onward, Stem-Cell Soldiers!

4. Stem-cells need to be subject to a military skills draft in the war against disease
The President should call upon these "Pluripotent-Americans" to do their patriotic duty.
