If so, I suggest the following:

* A displaced Katrina family

* A discharged service member with a key anti-terrorism specialty (http://www.sldn.org) (http://news.google.com/news?hl=en&ned=us&ie=UTF-8&filter=0&q=sldn+foreign+linguists)

* An uninsured senior couple, with an uninsured grandchild sitting on each grandparent's lap

* A Halliburton whistleblower

* Valerie Plame

Other ideas? If Speaker Pelosi's office were to issue a press release on this about 4 hours before the SOTU, the accredited press would have a field day with it, given its novelty.

Edited to add: This would also give Senator Jim Webb something concrete to discuss during his rebuttal (with the press later interspersing his rebuttal with footage of the Pelosi guest in question).
