Don't get me wrong. I agree with the reasoning and the logic that goes along with it.
This guy, even more than Nixon, deserves to see his Presidency end in the most ignominious way possible. But let me ask you this:
Why do you want impeachment?
Well, I'll tell you why I want it.
I want impeachment because the founders were describing this very situation we're dealing with right now when they put it to parchment.
I want impeachment because there can never be allowed another President with as much contempt for the ideals of democracy.
I want impeachment because the Constitution advises specifically in this direction when confronted by willful executives.
I want impeachment because no man or woman who acts against the will of the people has the right to claim, even in the hypothetical, that they speak for the people.
For all of these reasons, I believe that impeachment is not only justified, but required.
