Nato reveals dark arts of psy-ops
The Times January 22, 2007

Jerome Starkey in Kandahar

<snip>

Psy-ops are normally shrouded in secrecy, but Major (Kirsty) McQuade, (the top Nato psy-ops officer in southern Afghanistan)gave The Times an insight into Nato tactics.

Commanders believe that there are two types of Taleban insurgents in the war-ravaged south: Tier 1 Taleban are the leaders, some of whom are foreign; Tier 2 are the rank and file.

Major McQuade said that Tier 1 wanted to regain control of the country. “Some of them have power and prestige and they like that. Some of them are just psychopaths.

“Tier 2 are often motivated by factors such as debt. Some are very poor and uneducated and they do as they are told.”

Some of US were discussing this a year ago.

3. Debt, it does a miltary industrial complex good.
In this case it does the Taleban's miltary, and our weapons makers both good.

5. Debt is a belief
And it becomes real manifest when it is a collective belief and backed up with guns jails and threats.

The earth once gave us food shelter everything we needed raw material wise for free. But we let the man sit on the box and take it all and "redistribute it" for a price.

The box is full of salmon, and a man sits atop the box. Long ago this man hired armed guards to keep anyone from eating his fish. The many people who sit next to the empty river starve to death. But they do not die of starvation. They die of a belief. Everyone believes that the man atop the box owns the fish. The soldiers believe it, and they will kill to protect the illusion. The others believe it enough that they are willing to starve. But the truth is that there is a box, there is an emptied river, there is a man sitting atop the box, there are guns, and there are starving people

7. Very true.
Alas, it's the way the world is; seems to be human nature, and will be incredibly hard to change/correct.

6. Is this what we're doing with the 4.3 trillion missing from DOD?

Does Congress approve of psy-op payouts to Afghani's? What per-cent of the cost-of-war is required to pay off these soldiers? How many of our citizens slept on the street or in shelters while this was going on? Who had a health emergency and no insurance card to present? How many ate cornflakes for dinner during these periods of psychological operations against mankind? Let me state it more plainly - humanity is just s x x t to these people. They think we and the Afghani are stupid.

8. Not only psy ops
But Bio psychiatry, enhancing techniques of torture to better tear a person down but make a more compliant servant(cough) productive member of society of them..The list is vile.
I was hurt by the military as a kid..So I hate the pentagon.
The military fucked up my family . They tested drugs on my father and fucked with his head..I have alot of trauma from that stuff.

The military is using that money to create soldiers and erase their consciences, make is so they do not have to sleep.
They give the guys drugs as in amphetamines and Ecstasy to keep them jacked up than have them pilot multi million dollar aircraft and shoot people.

As in kill with no guilt.Drug away the very thing that makes us have empathy.
